The Committee shall serve as a source of professional advice and guidance to the Faculty Council on matters relating to community college liaison with business, industry, government agencies, the media and other SUNY units. The Committee will serve as the communications arm of the Faculty Council in promoting the excellence of the SUNY Community College System. The Community College Relations Committee administers the FCCC Distinguished Service Award, promotes the SUNY Awards Program, and the Conversations in the Disciplines (CID) program.
